Whats wrong with my car!!!

Here is the problem. When i start my car in themorning, it idles OK, but when you give it a bit of gas, it starts to rev up rough, just the first half of a second. Then, when RPM go higher, just above 2000, the engine is running smooth. I did replace MAF few months ago, did replace spark plugs bit later(Used Bosch platinum ones), used seafoam a while ago, and did cleaned Throtle bode just by spraying into it and whiping it out. The car was fine then, then this morning i felt rought driving in second gear at about 20mph. Then when you rev it up, it gets smoother.

Feels like cylinder isn't working at times, or something like that.

Could that be VAIS, or spark plugs?
And the MOST important, the car has no power as it used to be. 2nd gear is still strong, but third isn't as it used to be.. HELP PLEASE>>
Thanks
Nick

It might be your ignition coils. Your problems sounds very similar to when my had just started going. I had no SES light come on until about a week later as it got worse. code was P1320 I beleive. There are many post on here about this problem check them out and see if it's the same problem your having.

Sorry, forgot to post. Coils were changed under warranty a while ago, at about 40,000 miles. It was in 2001 or in 2002, don't remember. I don't think they put bad ones in the second time...

SES light on -> engine die -> changed back to original intake system ->
rev around 1700 when stop the car -> ECU die

Since your in Boston area, which dealer did you go to? I've had some much trouble with these ****ers in Boston area, specially Kelly NIssan in Lynnfield..
I'll try to reset the ECU for the night, might help, but it sounds like intake or spark plugs to me. Unless MAF went bad again..

When I took my car into the shop for them to change the plugs they sent me back to Pep Boys with the Bosch plat. plugs I bought and told me to stick with the NGK b/c the Bosch are no good and go out around 15k. And that was not even the dealer telling me that.

your car could be throwing a ghost code. have it checked at autozone.

What is a ghost code?

What is a ghost code? Is that when there is one stored in ECU, but no SES light?
