Which springs are better Tein H or H&R?

I have had this setup since May 04 & have no sag . There is a 2 finger gap in both the front & rear but I also have a lower profile tire 235/45/17. My 2 cents.

I have heard alot of unhappy customer with S-techs. The H-techs are your best bet. Moderate drop and ride quality is nice.

uhh what are you talking about. 235/45 is NOT the same height as 225/50...sidewall percentages....
235 x 45 = 105.4
225 x 50 = 112.5
less than a cm difference but it's still a difference....

Replacing the struts when you replace the springs is more cost effective if you have it done at a shop. It's also more time effective if you DIY. Sure, the vehicle will handle better if you replace the struts at the same time, but personally, I would not call it an immediate necessity. I had my factory struts on for appx 69k miles before I upgraded. The only blown strut I had was actually replaced via Nissan, under the B-B warranty and was probably bad before I had the springs installed.
Replacing the struts with the springs is more a preference than a requirement, IMO.

H&R definitely have a rear rake - which i dont care for. My front measures 26.75" and rear measures 26.0" and is very consistent with houscor's webpage info. As for the handling improvmemt, all i can say is...WOW. I do also have Illumina's set at 3/3. The ride is also VERY close to stock...which is great for an everyday driver....no bottoming out either.
On the issue of replacing struts when replacing springs, i agree that it makes since to do it together to save on installation. To break down the costs, my springs were $220 and struts were $450 with $175 installation/align for $845 total. If i had just done just springs, it would have been less than half at $395.
And with springs like H&R or Maxspeed, that have spring rates fairly similar to stock and that do not reduce the susp travel very much, maybe new struts arent absolutely necessary...but for a tein or sprint drop, new struts are a real good idea.
