2002 SE Automatic... No overdrive switch?

I just had my 2000 GLE totalled and picked up a 2002 SE. There are a lot of nice upgrades in the 2k2... One thing that I noticed missing, however, is the overdrive on/off switch... Am I missing something???

The automatics have 4 gears. 1,2,3, and overdrive. The push button overdrive off in the 2000 is the same as shifting it down to 3 in the 2002

Instead of a button to push, now just tap shift lever from 3 to D.

How is Nissan cutting corners? i think its nice to slap the lever over, but if there was a button that would have been fine too. Its not like you got to get out of your car and open the hood and manually select overdrive on your tranny...

just a joke. Come on, I've had an '03 for 100k miles and still love it. I got everything I asked for in a car.

I like the ease of the backhand tap method better than the button personally.
