The color on the Silverstars is 4000K while the PIAA'a appear to be 3800K color. Also, I keep hearing the PIAA blow pretty quick. Is it worth 2x the price? Does anyone have pics of the two side by side?

Go with the silverstars...then if one does blow, you can just go to the local auto parts store....Oh, and mine are fine after 6+ months

ok the piaa are way way brighter from what i've seen, my brother works at pep boys and the silverstars are not much brighter than stock, where as the piaa plasma bulbs look just like h.i.d. i have seen them in person and man they look great.. i'm not sure how the are as far as life goes but for looks piaa is the way to go....

Irish - Any chance you've got a pic of the Silverstars installed? How do they look next to the HiD's?
