i just bought a max tuning lip and got quoted for 300 to paint and install. i htought this figure was a little steep and was just wondering what is exactly invovled in the installation of max tuning front lip? my lip didn't come with any screws or anything. it was just the urethane lip in the box. do these just simply snap right on or someting?? any help appreciated or how to write ups with pics would help. thanks a lot

 

I used 3M side molding tape and rivets. I got my front, 2 sides, and rear painted for $150.

 

$150 for all that is unusually low. It is MUCH higher for most people, especially if you have metallic and/or pearl paint.

 

i paid 200 to install and re-paint my lip..

although all they did was put 2 bolts on each end and some tape int he middle..

the paint was the thing that cost the most

 

$140 install and paint

 

Ow do you add the rivets.... My Stillen lip came with all kind of bolts and rivets.. but I have no idea on how to install it. Also, so I do the holes before the paint or after?> anyone....

Very cheap, because my my cousin's friend owns the body shop.

 

I drilled holes after I got mine painted. I put about 3 rivets on each side of fender.

Know this guy down in Detroit. I got extra discount because I paid him cash.
