The list has been submitted to the vendor, now we have to wait until he sends us an email explaining payment instructions.

Well according to this, if the vendor can furnish the 17 initial kits then this deal will open up again.

I wish this guy would hurry and contact me...

you will have to wait guys. timmy G bought a kit from martin, so i assume he wont try to pull a fast one since he will also be making money. He lives like 30 minutes away from Timmy and Rav.. I dont think he will try to do anything stupid....

I would definitely like to be in on the next group if that happens. Be anxious to see pics when available. The description above was very good. This really sounds like a good deal if it pans out.

Ok quick update
I went to see this guy and got my kit, I like the look of it and will dry-fit it tomorrow to see it in daylight. He doesn't work for woodview, he bought a lot of inventory in an auction since these kits are old and woodview doesn't want to hold kits for older cars in their warehouse.
He is honest and won't rip anyone off, told me about the kit, gave tips for installation etc.
Problem is he's only got a few stainless billet kits left, and to get more he will have to convince woodview to make more. I gave him directions to this thread and hopefully he will give payment instructions.

also to add to that, the ebay kits are not molded. Most of them are flat.

The good thing about this is that we didnt have to pay all at once, the seller will actually contect you once he has your kit. I know it might take awhile, but we have nothing to lose right now since no money was taken yet. Ill basically volunteer to tbe the last one in line so all you orgers can get them.

I spent money on a plasma TV just for superbowl, and because I just needed a TV so i can wait. ..... ok time to head out for some superbowl munchie so I can see the Pats win tomorrow.

Oh ok so this is a real molded kit, 15 pieces for a auto 01 right? Also it's not real alum or is it? Is this still going on? Btw does this use 3M tape too? Btw how long is the wait? I can only wait till June after that I'll no longer be living in the U.S.

HEY GUYS.. got an update, but i its going to be 115 shipped, but once he gets 10 orders or more, you will get 75 shipped price. he will send you the difference as a rebate. Two member bought from him, and we only need 8 people to get the rebate going. Hope this helps.

Hi John,
I only have one 2003 maxima kit in stainless. I offer this kit to you
for
$100US plus $15US for shipping. You are the first person to recieve
this
offer for a 2003 kit. This kit's MSRP is $450US. Most retailers will
sell
this kit for $200US to $250US plus shipping (if applicable). Your still
getting a very good deal. I hope you decide to purchase this kit from
me.
You can pay me via paypal, martinskobla@hotmail.com or Visa (just send
me
your number and expiry date in 2 separate emails).

I sold 2 kits (2002) to members from your forum for this price and told
them
if I can sell 10 kits from my inventory then I would send them a
rebate. So,
if you go ahead with this puchase you would be #3 and I would need 7
more
people to justify a cost of $75US shipped.

Woodview will make the rest of these kits for the other members in
stainless
for $180US plus $15US for shipping via UPS ground. However, they are
going
to need an order of 10 or more for this deal to go through. The cost is
higher because they need to make these kits for this order. That's the
best
that I could negotiate with them. If you want a contact name and email
or
phone number to verify these numbers just let me know.

I'm going to post this message on the forum as soon as possible.

I look forward to your reply.

Martin

Also to add to this, I will have him confirm with me that he has all the 17 kits in stainless billet so we wont get screwed in the end. If he has all the sets in order, then im pretty sure people wont mind paying $115 and wait for a $40 rebate once the at least 10 people pay.

So he saying that order #4 - #10+ w/ 5.5 gens will have to pay 180 plus 15 for shipping just to get woodview to make the additional kits since he doesnt have them.. For those people will there be a rebate of 120.00 to take this down to the group deal price of 75.00..

I'm confused. So first 10 gets them for $75 after rebate and the rest for $180 + $15 for shipping?

He also did not mention anything about 5gens.

I don't think kit will be $75 since the company has to make them.

I am now interested in getting a kit for $75.... but what ever happened to the large group of people that already ordered these kits? Did they get them? and can we still get the group discount? This would be nice to know...

If he had some kits bought from an inventory clearance, I can see how $75 is possible. But if he actually has to have Woodview make more, then $180 is totally possible.

For what it's worth, I have a Woodview wholesale pricing guide in front of me, and standard wholesale price on that kit is $~220. They make nice quality stuff, I met them at SEMA. And if you're comparing them to the $99 eBay kits, it's not even close. Their simulated kits are all molded, even the flat pieces. The edges are rolled and the finish is good. eBay kits have terrible edges and the material is cheaper.
