replacing broken rear strut

I have been driving on a broken strut for three weeks; I am calling in an order today. The struts (Tokico HP) have been on the car for 28 months. Should I replace BOTH rear struts?

Yes, replace them in pairs, especially if they have any significant amount of use (28 months definitely qualifies )

If you had a strut go bad within maybe 3-6 months of swapping them, I'd imagine you could replace only 1, but beyond that the wear and tear might make an imbalanced setup if you only replaced 1.
