Question on clear side markers

I know a lot of you here have had water in your clear marker or some kind of condensation.. before I put my clear side markers on should I put silicone anywhere? Any kind of tips or tricks I should know about? Thanks in advance.

yeah you should just shoot the back of it with silicone.... my drivers side rear side marker had water in it, CM sent me a new one because it would not dry out, and it worked. that is the only one of all four that has had water and i also got into an accident in the spot.... i do not know if there is a connection.

I just put around the outside of side markers. It's been over a year and zero condensation.

1 of mine had this problem. Just took it in the house shook it for a few, put it by the vent in my house and when dry put aquarium sealant on the edges

I used aquarium clear sealant for my headlights and i've had no condensation/leaking problems yet. It's just as good on the corners.
