no greddy for me, just running the stock muffler. its the only thing stock in the exhaust now but i am very hesitant to the point where i probably wont change it.

 

Don't you feel the rear muffler piping that comes out of the muffler chokes the rest of the exhaust system ? If you run headers, test pipe, B-pipe and its all 2.5" and run a 2" rear section I would think this would robb ya of some power, but then again I don't have any dyno results or even seat of the pants comparisson of the stock muffler vs aftermarket 2.5" one.

 

yeah, i have seen it and definetely thought about the benefit but noise is probably my largest concern. id like to get the axel over cut and molded w/ 2.25 or 2.5 up to the stock muffler. edit- i also bypassed the ac compressor for at the rest of the winter. i wanted that to combat any low end loss with the test pipe that i never ended up feeling anyways. going to Kosei t1 which are a good bit lighter than my konig prophets.

i said it once and blackbird did as well. custommaxima.com is the only site that i have seen a resonated testpipe for the maxima.

Chris, that is pretty cool but I don't need it on the Max :P My G20 just runs a side exit exhaust anyways, its right past the driver's front wheel- my door is always nasty from the exhaust snot. It shoots out flames sometimes when I wanna make it. I run 3.25" turbo back on the G20, it makes for some nasty noises when it hits 26psi on T4 turbo. Too bad I need to granny it in 3rd or I will be pushing it home

 

i feel you, sounds like the G20 is alot of fun . I'll have this installed by this weekend. Yea it is gonna be pretty nasty when my car goes from sounding stock one second to sounding like a beast the next . this cuttout plus the headers=
