You can check out my page to see my tint that I just had put on after Christmas. I have 30% on the sides and 15% on the rear window. I am very happy with the look.

I disagree...I had smoke 20% Llumar on my Max at first, and you could see right in. Switched to a 15% Mirror tint and it seems to do the trick much better. Easier to see out of and harder to see into at more angles than the smoke. You sacrifice the 'classic' look for a more 'sporty' look IMO though. Check my page for pics w/ the mirror tint.

I like the half mirror tint half regular tint on the side windows. Not sure what it costs though, I've seen it on a few maxs and really want it on mine.

Mirror tint will attract cops. I had that and replaced it w/ black.

35% is nice. not to dark to attract cops but dark enough for privacy. You can check my homepage for pics. http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...page_id=428172

Most state laws prohibit tint on the drivers and passengers windows(front). But it seems that 30 percent keeps the cops away because it still allows them to see what is being done in the car. I have had to "remove" 20%. But what i did was cut a design from the bottom right corner going to the upper left corner of the window allowing more light to enter (kinda like an extended NIKE swoosh symbol). Problem was solved!

35% all the way around (or was it 30?). Looks clean...not too dark, etc. (Try to ignore the driveway chalk drawings). I think this level of tint would look great with that awesome blue color on your max.

This is the only reason I have the setup i currently have. If front window tint was legal in Illinois, i'd be rolling on 5% all around.

i have 35% and i think that is dark enough...its so dark at night, that i usually have to roll down the windows to see when backing up...but then again, i live in an area with absolutely no street lights at all

imo if your interior is black, do medium all around (30ish) and if it's a lighter color (like mine is frost) do dark (13~16% or whatever your shop offers)

5%. I have 20% and I wish it was darker every time I look at it. 5% sets off any car like nothing else. It makes it nice and dark and cool on the inside too, especially in the summer.

You cut out a symbol that sort of looks like a Nike symbol all the way across your front windows???

Cut Symbol

NO! I cut the drivers and passenger front window, then followed the same design to the rear windows. It looked sharp but I have since sold that to a High schooler because she loved the design on the car. I also had the same design cut into Stainless steel panels that are placed on the bottom of the doors to prevent rock chips and enhance the look. I wouldn't do it to this Maxima though! NO WAY! You see....20 % tint or less is way to much up in Alaska for it is dark almost all winter. We are just now going over 5 hours of sunlight. So anything darker than 20% it makes it hard to drive around all the time. Granted 20% looks awesome!
