5 speed transmition and clutch problem
Today in the morning I was parking my car and the clutch pedal got really really soft all of a sudden. I could still put it in gear. After class I got in the car and the pedal was dead. When I press it, it'd go all the way in and not pop back up. At this moment clutch itself is engaged, because if I put the car in gear when it's off and then try to start it with clutch pressed all the way, it jerks and moves. I towed the car to the shop and they're gonna check it tomorrow, but I'd like to see what are the possibilites, so they have less of a chance to phock me over.
Also, if it's the master or slave cylinder, is it possible to check it and change it if necessary, without taking the tranny apart?
Any help is greatly appreciated and I need it asap

Master and slave cylinders can be replaced without removing the tranny, FYI.
Also, I think there's a return spring in the clutch pedal that's supposed to allow it to come up. If there's something holding the clutch pedal down, maybe it's the master cylinder (something broke/got stuck inside)?

alright guys, thanks for quick info. Apparently Larrio was right about a clutch line and it was faulty. And that shop did try to phock me pretty bad. Those morons wanted to take the whole thing apart and _TRY_ to see what could be wrong. No need to say I towed my car to another shop and picked it up few hours later. Total cost: $160, including $85 in towing. Moral: gotta get me ss clutch line and a tow truck
