Just out of curiosity...

Has anyone installed the 02-03 headlight housings with a normal halogen setup instead of HID? (and don't turn this into a thread about WHY WOULDN"T YOU WANT HIDs? please...)

I'm just thinking out loud......

Irish, didn't you make a thread about this already? I could swear I have seen one. Not hate'n, or something of that nature. Perhaps your thread before turned into what you tried to circumvent. It is an avenue that should be explored.

i dont think a regular light bulb would stay on for the 02-04 headlights... or if it could.... i wanna get them headlights, get rid of my AE's and use my aftermarket HID's on the 02-03 headlights

How come they wouldn't stay on? I'm not trying to be an a-s, but just curious. Hey Irish, what do you think is a fair price for the housings only? I was considering doing the same thing to my '00 Headlights, but then I found somebody selling a set of '02 housings. I'm considering getting them, but unsure if the bulbs from my '00's will be able to plug and play. I'm sure you could make them work, but not HID style. What about high and low beam? I guess I'll have to look at a harness for a '02 and see how it plugs in. Any idea about how the harness looks like for '02 H/L's? Is there a plug/socket for low and a separate for high? Or is it like the '00 with 1 socket for high and low.
