I recently put these things on my max with 18x7 wheels and when i turn right, i hear a creaking and some noises like the right spring is rubbing hard on something. I found a thread on the 4th gen with the same problem. They only mentioned the scraping sound but not really the bending sound. Sounds as if the spring is bending a different way it is supposed to. I took it to the alignment shop and they said my right front spring is loose. Is there anyone else who can help me? Is the loose spring related to the scraping?

dunno wut kinda dope they smokin' but it's workin..j/p PROLLY the spring seats are outa place. or what is that peice called? spring purch what ever.. or is the spring flipped upside down? is it possible to have it upsdie down on struts?? or could it be the struts that's makin' the noise? the wheel shouldn't be the problem if your offset is 35-40mm some would say 35-38mm. either or.

I just go my front right strut mount replaced,

it was making creaking noise, when I was turning the steering wheel. Some how the bushing on the strut mount gets ripped or something.
I don't know, but the noise went away after they replaced the strut mount. I have stock springs, so I don't know, maybe you have something else that is making that noise.

Good luck.

I fixed it!!! There was a bolt furthest away from the spring in my car that was rubbing my springs. When the car was facing straight there was only a 1 finger width space between the bolt and my springs. Pulled my bolt out and saw it was worn down. Added a few washers and now it is perfect. Can't believe so much scraping and grinding souunds came from that little bolt!!!
