strut bar from ebay

Hey guys,
I know this has probably been asked before, but has anyone bought a strut bar off of ebay? If so, are you happy with it? Also what seller should I buy from?

just got mine today, I gotta say it looks pretty good. I;m gonna put it on in the frigid cold tonight. I paid like $80 + shipping for my courtesy one for my 4th gen back in the maxima.ml.org days, this bar is just as good if not better IMO

Automatic

Are these strut bars different if you have an automatic trans?

I just got an SPW a few weeks ago off ebay and I can't really feel a huge difference. The bar itself is NOT the best quality. It's not that rigid and I can feel it bend when i press down on it. It was a quick and easy install and also cheap, but I wish I had a Stillen bar to compare it with. The bar looks good and for 40 bucks you can't go wrong, but IMO the performance improvement is barely noticable....

Hey, Nismax, I just installed the one from Autobacs this afternoon (ebay, 6.99 buy it now price, shipped to my door for $23.98). Looks good, fits well (on a 2001 at least). NO rubbing sounds, clears the hood perfectly, even if you slam it, and I can feel a slight difference even without the RSB installed yet. I'll post pics from several angles later tonight; simple silver w/ no frills (no instructions even, you will have to use the ones from the 5th gen FAQ). Good luck.

Per Puppetmaster's request:

The famous Ebay Autobacs1 FSTB:

The last picture is the only place where there might be rubbing, although I haven't experienced any, and the A/C support mount seems pretty solid.
