Smoke and black tint

Is there a noticible difference between the two if you go light? like 45% or lighter? Im trying to get away with front tints in NJ. So do u guys think a 45% smoke tint would darken the windows at all or should i do like a 50% black tint. Some feedback would really be helpful and pics as well. Im going crazy of how light/dark i should go.

well you live in jersey, i think our cars already come with 50%?, 35% should be the lightest you should go but any tint on the side will get you into trouble. just get the back sides tined to 15% or 20% and the front sides 35% its less noticiable becuase the dark windows in the back will make your front ones lighter, therfore it looks like you only tint the back ones. and smoke, and black are the same color. ive seen alot of cars with dark tints in jersey. so im not too worried when i get my tints

i had 5% limo on my last car all the way around...too dark IMO..it looked nice tho cause the car was white...when i tint the max im most likely gonna do 20% all around...i didnt have trouble with the cops where i live at when i had the limo tint...but sometimes they would bust my ***** and always ask me when i was gonna take it off...no tickets tho....except one when i got pulled over in a different township and he gave me window tint as a secondary ticket. im not to worried...i havent ever heard of any situations of any one that ever got a tint ticket in jersey that had to pull it off or anything tho...just $44 and your on your way..

i have 20% smoke all around. check my cardomain aswell.

if its cloudy..it'll be hard to see inside(just a shadow). But if its sunny outside..which it is in cali 11.5/12 months...you can see alittle inside to see who's driving. 20 smoke will be too light if u wanna hide ur identity. It is good enough for my pale *** so its cool.

note: my pictures are taken when it was sunny and away from the sun with an angle.

Damn only $44 ticket for illegal tint. I got one on Saturday for $237. 2 years with my tint, been pulled over a few times before, cop never mentioned the tint. God I hate the end of the month. Oh and I guess it's illegal to drive with your fog lights on.

I would just go for the black tint... Looks better, and it is always nice in the sun. And if you see a cop, just role down the window like me.

yeah...i figured that out a while ago..i think that's pretty dumb, considering during daylight, or cloudy conditions it only alerts the other drivers more than with your lights off.... anyways, when i got pulled over, i had only my fogs on and my hyperwhite corners and he didnt care i love texas cops

and if you get a ticket for illegal tint here, it costs somewhere around $180..
