Used Springs

I was just wondering what is the disadvantage of buying used springs and BRAND new springs... I like to buy all new items for my max but i'm getting in the budget of my "modding account" and gotta start buying some used items.... so I was wondering if buying used springs are ok.... (Progress or Tein-S-Techs) Is there anything I have to watch out for?

Thanks all!

just make sure they are in good condition. I.E. no rust. good thing about buying used springs is that they have already setteled, so you get the max amount of drop when you install them.

Used springs aren't bad. Just make sure they're not modified. Some ricers will cut their springs for an even greater drop, but that is unsafe.
