I tried the Silverstar H3 fog bulbs and they didn't match the HID's at all. They are certainly better than stock yellowish bulbs.

!!! I had Silverstar in my headlights and they are better than stock. I now have PIAA Super Plasma-GTX which are pretty bright with more colors.

Some people like them and some people don't. You'll just have to try them out yourself

i had silverstars for while, but they looked too yellow, so i bought some mtec super white bulbs from ebay. there whiter than silvania's, but i think the light output is a little lower.

i just bought some mtec cosmos blue for my foglight. i'll see how much better they are

Sylvania Silverstar don't last!

I had them in my Toyota and it seems I had to replace them every 6-8 months. I called them up and asked what was the problem and the service rep I smoke with told am there were not designed to last over a year, because of the extra output. She did swap my burnt ones for new ones, but she said they would only do that 1 time.

I have them as high beams (HID low beams) and they really put out a lot of light. Don't match the HIDs very well though.
