***Question about strobes***

In the 5.5 gen.....

is there any modification to the headlights other than removing that reflector cap? can a strobe bulb fit in the parking lights (replace them)?

I might be doing a 6 strobe setup (if these fit without much modification)

Highbeams, Parking/Clearance lights, and Corner Markers....

In a sequance of highbeam and corner marker, then parking light and on the other side opposite at the same time.

I would only like them in front because if accidentally they were on I would see them.

I would not risk putting them in the front and screwing up my headlights. I put mine in the rear. To answer your question the 90wat strobes will def not fit in the high beam or parking slight holes. You will need to drill.

I had my two park lights/corner lights removed to fit in 2 strobes in the front.. then i ended up taking if off when i got busted.. but im getting them back on again next week! I would risk putting strobes in the back... never know whos coming up to u from behind!

Hmm, I would do 4 in the taillights, with an alternating sequence (right brake-left signal, left brake-right signal) and the two high beams (Marco has those in his headlights, you should speak to him if you want to check it out).

I agree with you also soonerfan. You can't drive with strobe lights on a public road so why even bother. And even if you were in a private lot somewhere and had them on and a cop saw you, he would probably still write you up some kind of ticket or warning. But some laws vary from state to state so I would suggest check your local laws first or you could get busted for impersonating a police officer.

NYC is having a major crack down on cars with strobes , because as you all know why already. The dude that was killed by a police impersonater, where the guy was shot and killed. It was all over the news. So just be very very careful if you do this mod. Goodluck..

that guy worked at my bank and was shot not more than 2 miles away from me. Ever since that happened, i took off my strobe blinkers, not worth it at all. but whatever floats your boat

You have to smart and use it WISELY. If your gonna use the strobes on the highway, you should be SHOT.

I did this mod to my max last summer. I did the whelen six bulb 90 watt kit. I Took the two clearance bulbs out of the headlight and drilled the holes bigger to fit the strobes. I also put two strobes in my fogs and two in my taillights. I did not want to lose my highbeams so I just took out the clearance light. No high beams=stupid idea . I also figured that I don't really have my fogs on a lot so why not take the bulb out and put a strobe in there. It looks really good with strobes in the head light and fogs because they alternate patterns. So yes it is possible with some modification.

Watch what you say , none of us are hating here. We are simply suggesting ideas to Polak for his own good. Polak has been on the org for a long time and has come a long way with his max for us to be hating on him, so relax.
