Flat dash kits removal

Anyone here have successfully taken the "stick on" flat dash kit pieces off without damaging any parts. I'm afraid the 3M adhesive tape would be too strong to take off. Any tips anyone?

A typical hairdryer will do fine. Just heat up the pieces until warm, and they should just peel off.
