Igor, They are bright but I used the mode that captures the best light. My old pictures show how much glare I get from the fogs.

Wow, those pics are amazing, Polak. I really really really like the one you used for your sig....that is ridiculous!

Too bad I haven't had time to fix the ring that's out in my driver's headlight yet. It's been over a month, but I've been at school. I only have three rings lighting up, and I can't use my DDEs.

Oh, I posted about it a while back. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=367533

I did hard-wire, and everything worked for about a day or two. Then one of the rings just stopped working in the driver's headlight. It was too cold out to work on it and I had to come back to school in mid January. I haven't been home since and thus have not had a chance to even try to diagnose the problem. I'm going to have to remove the headlight again (what a PITA since I have DataDots), and see if maybe my connection between the ring and the ballast came undone or something. (Those wires are kinda jammed behind the lip thingy under the headlight.) I know it could be a couple things....bad ring, bad ballast. Just hope that when I do open it up, umnitza will still replace whichever of those is bad, assuming it turns out to be one of those items that's the problem. Hopefully it will just be that a connection went bad.

Anyway, I shouldn't be bringing down the mood here, you have some really nice headlights there, and the point of this thread is to be enjoying them.

I wish the DDE's looked like that in real life, then I would get them with no questions but the glare from the reflector kills it to me.

Great pictures tho Polak!!!

Just out of curiosity, have you ever seen them in real life? Sometimes a camera shot on regular mode makes them look brighter than they really are. They are bright, but the rings are definitely distinct in the headlight (IMHO), assuming you don't have the low-bean HID on.

Now I'm kinda jacking this thread, but since we're all from Jersey here, hopefully Polak won't mind.

KCM-Those blacked out headlights look great. And I like your Eclipse HU, too. Have you had any problems with the cops since you got the 20% tint? (Or are you the one who IS a cop?) And where did you have it done and for how much, if you don't mind my asking? And you still driving around with no front plate?

ha, im really sorry about the threadjacking.

thanks for the compiments brian Don did the headlights for me, and after my incident, hes gonna have to do another drivers side one, so hopefully it will match *fingers crossed*. since i got the tint done, ive never had a cop say anything, even after being stopped multiple times for other things. i spent/spend the majority of my time in roxbury, mine hill, budd lake, and mt. arlington, and never been spoke to about it. it was also done down at Dons by a guy he uses that comes to him. he did it for $150 with a lifetime gaurantee.

Ouch, sorry to hear about that accident. I'm assuming you're happy with the tint job, and that sounds like a great price. Come spring I'll definitely be talking to Don about that. Thanks for the info.
