What is Power Shifting?
power shifting is for manual trannys. It is when you keep your foot on the gas all the time throughout the shifting. Normally, you would remove your foot from the gas when pressing the clutch during a shift, but here you would keep it on the gas. You would probably wear out your clutch faster if you did it a lot.
Well, I "power shift", at times, from D1->D2->D with OD off with my automagic, while trying to excellerate quickly. It is not recommended to be done often. On occasion won't hurt, at least I hope not.
