bouncy suspension

Just have a question for you fellow orgers, to pick your brain. I have had my suspension setup for about 6 months maybe a little more, tein h tech and tockico illuminas. I have them set at 1 the softest and the comfort seems to be there, but the ride at times seems to be bouncy alot of the time. And large bumps seem really rough. Just wondering what you guys think and if anyone with a similar setup has any feedback. Thanks again. lv6speedmax.

Well normally if a car is bouncing up to the moon and back it's because the struts have gone. In your case you probably need to jack up the hardness!

Yeah, the 1 setting isn't really a stiff enough match for the H-Techs.

Adjust them to 2-3 and the bounciness should go away.

For reference, I have my fronts at 3 and my rears at 2 and it's not really bouncy at all. It can get rough on bad roads (any lowering spring will, really), but compared to S-Tech springs, H-Techs are like riding on silk.

The shocks are supposed to keep the compression and rebound of the springs under control. It sounds like yours are too soft right now.
