any ideas what auto lock set is? it can only be enable via consult, but im wonding if is some mechanism that lockes the doors automatically when you start the car or something. or maybe something that locks the doors after the car is off ...

 

I heard the auto lock is the car automatically locking the doors after a certain amount of time has passed after the car's ignition is on...Ther's been a post some time ago about all these special features that the consult-II can change only on 5.5gens.

I was just reading a thread in the I30 forum and a guy over there said his did this to him and he can't figure out why. Auto lock that is. It can't be too good if you leave your keys in the car.

 

It locks the doors after the ignition is off. I think the key has to be out of the ignition or something like that, or maybe just not in the accessory / running mode.

 

speaking about the key fob... how can u make the windows go down in the 2k1... i believe we don't have that option but i heard someone did this before by using their fob to lower the windows
