Stillen ypipe

Hey guys, bought this off ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT) was wondering if anybody with a stillen ypipe on there '01, could vouch for the validty of the photo's. I probably should have done this before I bought it, but Only reason I'm asking is it doesnt really look like the photo on the stillen site. Thanks

Hmmm.... looks kinda different there... that's kinda funny (not for you, of course)... cuz someone else bought a y-pipe that kinda looked like yours too... and it looks like he bought the wrong pipe for his car. But give it a shot... it might fit and work fine... the elbow pieces look the same, so who knows? Maybe its just a different batch? I dunno...

Y'all really need to verify these things before buying... sorry... hope things work out somehow...

everything from the flex section on doesn't look like a stillen y-pipe. So maybe the guy had that replaced somehow

Well atleast my lawyer gets to earn his retainer this month. roll4life is that a the y-pipe for an '01? Could use the pic if it is. Any guess as to whether or not the pipe I have is maybe a cattman, or budget y-pipe. Any suggestions on how to handle this, does anybody know gixxerone?

Have ya tried to see if it fits? Cuz if it does... he has some defense right? I guess it would be false advertising if he said it was a Stillen and it wasn't anyway...

Thats the sticking point, he said that it was the stillen pipe. Dont want to try to bolt it up until I know what it is and who made it. Especially if it is just a stock pipe.

I'm pretty sure that isn't a stock pipe...

You've already seen pics of my 5.5 Gen y-pipe and here's a pic of Soonerfan's 5th Gen y-pipe next to his Warpspeed y...

The stock y has completely different bends in the pipe...

Sorry... ya haven't seen my y-pipe...

My y-pipe next to a Cattman y... def not what you have... can't really see the bends with those shields on, but take my word for it, the stock y-pipes are more loopy...

that extension piece makes me think its a stillen y-pipe. Cause only stillen offered that piece for fed spec maximas (cali spec doesn't use the extension). I believe other companies just made two separate y-pipes for both applications
