Stillen front lip doesn't fit 100%

So I got a Stillen lip from SWA... and decided I should test fit it.... it's not a BIG problem but I'm not sure what I can do next to adjust the fitment... well anyways... the lip seems to fit fine from the sides but in the front... the slits do not match up evenly so the middle won't go in all the way. 2 of the slits I can put thru but the other 2 is uneven and are a couple of centimeteres away. I'm not sure if I should just cut the slit to be bigger so it can be fitted in 100% or if there is something else I can do! Thanks for the help!

i had the same problem..i think everyone does..
the lip looses its form a bit during shipment.
i just took a razor and trimed off a bit of the slits little at a time..

check my webpage...

I had the same problem in one of the sides.. the sucker doesn't wants to go in.... have no idea on how to make it work. I'll be sending mine for painting soon.

Question:
I'm planning to use the bolts that came with the Lip, do I have to make the holes and fit it before paiting or not?

well its good to do a test fit.. but not necessary...i just slapped mine on after i got it painted... just make sure you lay a blanket or something soft under the bumper so if it falls in the process you dont scratch the paint

oh and make your your test holes are smaller than your actuall holes..

It must be fitted and drilled before painting.

Weird. Mine fit fine.

I lined up the slits first and by the time I got to the fender area lip was really tight, which that's how I wanted it.

I tried to line it up by the slits first also.. but after 2 was in.. i realize the other side wasn't even in... so now.. i'm not sure if time will let it expand :-x... or if it would just fit somehow.. but if not.. i will use the razor method...

You don't have to remove it completely. Just pulled the sides far enough to remove the fogs. It sucks though either way.

so you can still change the fog light bulbs with the lip on tho right...just more difficult? cuz i'd assume you can do it under the car behind it instead of pulling it out through the hole in front of the car

from what i've seen in person and from pics online it looks like the foglight can still pop out ...there's a little bit of space for it to fit if the lip is flush and on correctly i think altho i don't have mine on yet so i don't know for sure of course

You can change the bulbs w/out removing the foglight housing. I needed to remove mine to install HIDs.
