nah, the 5th gen light go all the way out to the fender, so it will only be eye lidded 3/4's of the lamp. unlike the jetta, the whole lamp is lidded...

pass on this one...

unless he could bring the fender up over the rest of it so it'll look even...

Looks like a photoshop to me, but on a Maxima, its hard to say what it would look like. I won't made a judgement till I see.

Yeah, I think it looks good on the VW, but think it would look stupid on our cars.

...but by all means do it so we can see what it looks like

Probabloy look good, but check yourself in if you drop $900 on upgrading the appearance of a hood on a maxima.

I think it could look really good, but would have to see one done before i did it myself. Lot of people are getting eyelids anyway

I'd like to see the results of that. I have to agree that $900 is alot to pay for a hood with nothing more than the eye lid effect. To each his own

It looks GREAT on VWs, specially Passats. I've seen couple of Passats with that hood before. On our maxima it would look really weird. But hey, you can always get it for yourself and prove everyone wrong .

It doesnt look bad on the jetta, but with our style lights it would look like **** on a max. I may change my mind if we can get a good photochop of this.

Hood

Not sure about the hood, but for $900 YOU better be sure. Have you thought about those eye lids that cost $50 bucks, alot less of a gamble for those of us that are currently economically challeged.

I choose a different approach to performance upgrading

hood

I think it looks better on cars with a more "squared-off" shape if that makes sense. on the headlight comments above.

It flows really well with the rest of that Jetta, but I don't like it for the max.

I would have to see it on a max to know for sure if it would look good. I like it on the jetta though. Someone must be able to photoshop this.

i would'nt say it is a mod, but a look. the euro guys are dooing the clean look. no tint. major mods that look stock. and small 3 piece wheels.

i use the term "mod" loosely.. and how exactly are 18s small on a golf?

though yea they are taking a completely different approach with the hobby. the problem with the max is the rear. it never quite looks right..
