Grill Question 2001 SE Anniversary Edition

I've read on this board that the grill in 2000 & 2001 maximas is moulded into the front bumper cover, but while washing my car today I was looking and the grill in my 2001 SE AE looks like it is a seperate piece.

Has anyone pulled a grill out of an Anniversary Edition?

Part of the grill can be removed but it's only the edge. If you remove the headlights you'll see that it's integrated into the bumper.

i have the ae too jopa416, the grill is part of the bumper, molded as you would say, the only way to get this grill off, is by cuttin it off either with a hot knife or very carefully razoring it out - good luck -

Thanks for the replies

I may just spend the money and have a body shop do the work. I really need the whole front of the car painted due to the stone chips.

Have a good week all.
