...to attach the AE body kit to the car? The pieces are held on with a combination of plastic clips and a double sided adhesive that is almost like rubber. It's EXTREMELY sticky and I'm guessing that the rubber/plastic nature of it is why it holds up to water so well. I am going to re-attach a piece of the kit that had come loose recently, and I need something that I'm not going to have to replace after a few carwashes/rainstorms. Thanks guys.

I think 3M has the market on the two sided tape. Check an auto store or hardware store. Also check the thickness of the tape, some is thicker than others.

the AE kit are held up by adhesive? I thought they were attached wtih bolts or screws. Now I'm wondering, cuz i want to get a factory AE front bumper lip instead of stillen aero lip.

I thought the same thing (about bolts/screws). The side skirts are held on by a combination of plastic clips and VERY strong adhesive. The clips alone or the adhesive alone would easily hold the trim, so the combination works well. The funny thing is that there are threaded holes built into the parts so that bolts COULD be used, but they were covered up by the adhesive. I may consider going the bolt route, though I'd have to drill through somewhere on my car. I'll check out how hard that is today.
