Whenever I start my car the o/d (overdrive) light comes on and flashes 16 times. Anybody have a clue about this?

isn't that the symptom for a bad solenoid? I had that happen with my max once after it got stuck and I rocked it to get out. Turns out it just overheated the tranny and it didn't really hurt anything. It went off after restarting it an hour later. What i've heard though is that if the OD light comes, usually it means that there's something either wrong with the TCM or the shift solenoid.

 

I get the same thing on my O2 Max, except It's My A/T light. Blinks 16 times as well. I also noticed that it's starting to slip. SUX.
