Cheapest source for iridium plugs?

I need to change my plugs but the Iridiums are pretty expensive. Anyone order them online cheaper than the parts stores.

Thanks

I wouldn't recommend using anything besides factory, which for our car is NGK. I have a friend who's very experienced with cars and he says Bosch will produce some bad results.

I have been using Bosch since 15k miles, they have worked for me very good.. I don't know what your friend told you but I think he is misleading you on that....

Not sure if you guys have an interest, but it increases our knowledge... and knowledge is power .

Fact about Iridium:
Fifty million years ago, an asteroid composed almost entirely of the precious metal Iridium (Ir-77) struck the earth, creating the Gulf of Mexico. The resulting dust cloud destroyed most living things and ended the dinosaurs reign on earth.

Cool huh?

Glad to know it's working well for you. I'm planning on going with stock -- NGK Double Platinum tipped plugs. I forgot the reason why he suggested not using the Bosch, but I'll keep you informed.

NGK Iridiums are nice plugs. My GMC Yukon has them and now no more knocking from the engine during starting. I bought them off of Ebay under "NGK Iridium SPark Plugs"
They are more money but look at the technology advancment they have over platinum. When platinums came out everyone wanted them. It will be the same with the Iridiums. I just had a friend file a law suit against Bosch for two of the prongs on the Bosch Platinum 4s came off in the cylinder. Bosch said sorry so now he is going to try to get a new engine from them for this. Shiet.....4 prongs why not 6. Kinda like the new quad razor. Damn do you need that many when two does the job. BTW Iridium is bar far a superior metal. Go to the site below and read!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW This is where ebay has some for sale. Good Luck!

Bosch actually produce less power on a dyno- there was a article in Sport Compact Car a while back and they tested a Sentra SE-R with Bosch plugs vs NGK plats and the car made 3 more HP at the wheels with NGK plats. At the same time +4 plugs are NOT good at all, why do you almost ALL good car manufacturers (we aint talking Kia or Dumbestic) use NGK for their OEM plugs ? Bosch cause all kind of hesitation problems on Nissans.

Adding to what Blackbird said, and getting back to the reason why Bosch isn't good for our cars is the fact that they are made maily for American cars.

NGK = Most Asian cars
Bosch = American

You choose.

Even Bimmer, VW, SABB, ROLLS ROYCE, JAGUAR and many more euro car use NGK as their OEM spark plug.

What does this say? Their German Spark Plug maker sucks ( Bosch)

For SEMAX. I hope he isn't the only one running these awesome plugs in his car. We should all be using them if you care about performance, fuel efficiency, and a longer lasting plug.....PLUS THEY ARE NGKs. What more do you want. Look below for the site in the other reply I gave if you want more research on these plugs. BUY THEM, USE THEM, and you will happy you did!

I started using NGK Iridiums late in the racing season last year. They work great with spray and I ran my fastest N/A time even using 1 step colder.

Do you mean plug wires? If so, we don't have any. Only the plugs need to be changed.

Thanks for the great info everyone. It looks like the NGK iridium off E-Bay for me.

I need to replace my spark plugs, and was looking into the NGK iridiums. The cheapest place so far is ebay. Does anybody that bought remember the specific seller?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33693
$41 shipped 98.4% feedback
I might just buy from this seller. Decent rating.
