Weird sound with clutch in
Hello
just wondering if anyone can help me. Recently ive been hearing this weird knocking sound when i hold the clutch pedal all the way down. the sound is very subtle but its there. It also gets louder if my car is in reverse.... and it usually goes away if i let go of the clutch.
any thoughts on what it could be?

not too familiar with manual tranny warranty, is this something that might be covered under warranty. i got about 46k miles.
one thing though.... i came to them many times with whining noise concerns when vehicle was still under 36k...

might be a messed up pressure plate, you running performance clutch? i just got centerforce in and the pedal was EXTRA soft and sometimes felt like it didn't wanna spring back, so my mechanic looked at the fluid and everything was fine and figured it was defected pressure plate... getting new one as i type! does your pedal feel light and soft?

if it's not, you would probably have a pretty good chance at forcing them to warranty it, since you reported while you were in the warranty period (less than 3 years and less than 36K miles)
