H.I.D bulb question

Sorry for the newbie question but I'm trying to find out the model of the factory hid bulbs so I can replace them with a bright set and does anybody know where I can get a set? I'm trying to get a blueish tiny on them...I think thats the 6000 model. Thanks

i would not go over 6000k, for light out-put reasons... however, 6000k bulbs come in many different colors. i think the Group Buy might still be going on, check that out.

Umnitza 6000K gives purplish/white look while McCulloh 6000K gives bluish/white look. If you want more blue, you can go up on K rating but light output will be much less. Not a wise way to spend $150 IMO.

BTW u will need a D2R bulb. The higher kelvin rating you go with, the less lumens that are put out.

Damn!! Almost 400 bucks for the pair!! How do they justify that price? That is outrageous. I got my 6000k Xtec d2r bulbs for $150 shipped from Umnitza.

Haha. Hey, I said only if I paid. I won't be spending no $400 on bulbs.
