Clicking sound from left front

Recently I've been getting a clicking noise coming from the left front wheel area(only). Seems like it's just when the car's warmed up. Nothing when you first start out cold in the morning. Noise is present when you go at any speeds and diminishes somewhat while braking, but it doesnt go away all together. Sounds like maybe the pad is rubbing on the rotor, but I can't be sure...maybe the rotor is barely touching the little shield thats behind the brake assy. I dont know for sure. I looked at it but could not find anything obvious. The pads themselfs look like they have about 60 percent meat left on them. Judder TSB was done 2 years ago...been fine since. Ideas? Might be time for new pads?
