Hey guys, im a newbie. Just wanted to let you know I find this site extremely helpful and read threads all the time. I have a 2000 maxima AT and recently at 60K had some spark knock (pinging) that I thought might have been caused by something in the tranny since it only happened on acceleration under load or on a hill. replaced knock sensor (did nothing) replaced MAR (did everything!) car is much more responsive at lower rpms and has considerably less spark knock, however there is still some. Trying to get some money together to replace coils and get new plugs/wires. Just wanted to send that out to let you know if you are having the same problem its not the end of the car, just 104 bucks at auto zone for a new MAF and 20 minutes work.
