Need help ASAP (Rims fitment question, extending studs...)

Mods: First off, this is not a question about rims. But rather a safety concern, so please leave this thread alone.

Ok, so I was looking at 17' Miglias Evo5s today. We did a test fit with one rim to see if it'd fit or not. After taking our the center ring on the rim, the rims fit right on and bolted on tightly. But the problem is that the studs on the Maxima are a little too short and don't go deep into the rim like they do on our stock rims. Is that going to be a problem if I get them? I don't want to run into issues. I can't find any measurements for the 17 inch Evo5s since they're discontinued and I want them -- but I also have to be sure. I don't want to extend my studs and spend more money on that.

Help.

there are a certain amount of turns that the lugnuts should go to be considered safe. I don't remember the number offhand but I'm sure someone has that info

To replace the studs, they just knock out with a hammer through the back and new ones go in, then tighten the lugs to install.
