Voltage while running
Voltage while running
Hey guys,
I just replaced the battery in my car because I didn't use my car for almost a week. The battery seemed like it was 'lazy' upon starting so I decided to change the battery. When I changed the battery, I hooked up the voltometer to the battery, started it up, the reading indicated 14.30 volts. I let it idle for about 10 minutes, and I saw the voltage, go from 14.30 to 14.27. I took some of the tools back into the garage and looked at the voltometer again and it said 14.23. Is this OK or do I have to change the alternator now? I couldn't stay outside any longer because it was so cold out! Thanks
Andy
