A/t Slip Fixed And Tested!
G'day!
Well here is the update with my Canadian Nissan Dealer in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I brought in the MAX and with TSB in my hand, the tech drove the MAX and found out it slipped, therefore he ordered what the TSB said to order.
hmmm sounds like a robot. Anyways got the car back today and carpet shampooed. They got rid of 90% of the road salt. But not impressed. Paid $45.00 CDN for the carpet shampoo. Oh well... so I "Road Test" the car. You know what that means. STOP sign...FLOOR IT! what can I tell you.. SMOOTH. One happy MAX owner again.
I wonder if 3M scotch guard any good at all or just more cans in the garage..
These are the parts that they installed:
31940-85x04 Solenoide
31397-80x01 Joint (I think this is a seal)
Cans of NEW Tranny juice.
He even asked me if I wanted to see the tranny in pieces...
OMG! <sniff> my TRANNY!!!!!!!! Looks pretty neat.
If you so much as fart on my tranny.....
Therefore word to the wise, if you have the A/T Slip...and your dealer gives you heat about it..well..CHANGE DEALER! Simple. PERIOD.

04 is newer than 03. I asked this question when my solenoids came in. Someone mentioned that there was a new TSB that contained the updated solenoid info.

Which TSB is that? If there is one that means it has another TSB for the slipping A/T so we have to bring the car in to update it?
