2004 Audi A4 vs our A33's

Dang, I rode in my friend's '04 Audi A4 yesterday through the streets of Manhattan. As you may know, Manhattan has some really cruddy streets, major potholes everywhere.

In my '01 I30T, I grimace with every bump I hit, cuz I feel like the car is going to break... I have stock struts, stock springs.

In the Audi A4, it just soaks up everything, it feels firm, but controlled, and the car just feels so much more solid going over bumps.

I would love to get that kind of "ride quality." How can I get that? ANY input would be appreciated.

Yes, I know we have the stupid rear beam axle, and there'se not much we can do... but surely there must be some of you guys who have improved their ride quality / frame stiffness to absorb bumps better?

buy an audi?

My old 79 S-Class took speed bumps like they did not exist. Different cars are made differently.

Nissan employs the "American" ideals of car building.

Simply because their chassis is much more rigid than the A33.
Invest your money with all the structural bracings that are offered for our car and your ride will be just like Audi, if not better.

DO the bracings as Vmaximus02 and change your struts and springs... you will see the difference
