It appears that www.autobulbdepot.com has secured their order and will start mailing on 5-3-01. The h4's (headlights) and h3's (foglamps) anyways.......seems the wedge bulbs and dome bulb are still coming soon. Their wattage and output claims look to be higher than Plasmas (my current favorite as they are lgt. purple vs. fake blue)

 

I'm thinking of going down this path but there's a LOT of opinions up here on which lights to go with (some even say there's little, if any, improvement over stock for a lot of the bulbs that are on the market today) so I may be on the fence for a while. Gotta search the boards, ya know?

Perhaps these Xtreme Whites will finally be THE alternative to HID. Who knows. Anyway, I'm sure they'll be some $$$.

If the H4 Xtreme Whites are going to be like the H3 Xtreme Whites, then the difference will be minor. How do I know? Go through my pictures and see if you can tell which are the Xtremes and which are the Super Whites.

 

Hey Kev........how long you had the Xtreme Whites?? PIAA has told me these are new....brand new....and all bulbs in this family are just being released. They should have a very light aqua coating...not as blue as Super Whites (or Platniums). Maybe you had an older variation or an imported set from Japan?? Hey its only 65.00 ....not a big loss. I love the Super Plasma's but think they need a little more power or stronger appearance.

 

Yup, the set I have was imported from Japan. I've had these for quite some time now, but I don't remember how long. They do have a light blue coating, but the coating did look very similar to the SW's, IIRC.
