I got HS ones on my 01, they fit like a glove but the 02 sensor hits the AC compressor/line on my car. I removed the AC line for now and plugged up the compressor till I get around to modifying eighter the header or AC compressor. Power gains vs cattman Ypipe are very apparent. Sound is great, video will come maybe tomorrow evening.

if you have a fed spec 00 then you have to use the cattman headers because of the egr.

If you knew how to re-route your EGR piping down into the Ypipe, or better yet Warpspeed test pipe, then HS headers will work. Price diff of 400 dollars vs Cattman is worth the re-routing of the EGR. I have a AC compressor issue on mine where it doesn't clear the compressor. But I'm going to give a 3.5L compressor and compressor bracket a try to have my AC working again Winter- no AC needed for now. Gains over a Ypipe are very impressive, it took me about a hour n half and this was with a oil change :P

not sure if you want to give it a shot but bending the angle of the bung worked for me. i still have my 01 compressor and line on with no clearance issue even though it is bypassed til the temperatures come up back.

I checked a 3.5L AC compressor placement tonite, and the compressor seems to be closer to the body of the car, bout 1/4" more room. Now I need to get a hold of the bracket and see if the AC comp bracket is all that is diff. I'm worried bout the belt not aligning after that thou. As far as bending the 02 bung a little bit... I can't see how thats possible given its not a long bung, I tried with a pry bar a little bit and it won't even move... how did you do yours exacly ?

just inserted a smaller pry bar and tug it downwards with a little more than moderate pressure. we would pull a few times then check the clearance and just kept doing that until it was not an issue.

i have only seen dynos comparing the 3.5 y pipe vs. headers. unless i am mistaken, i dont think any 5th 3.0 have dynoed headers yet. i am going to dyno soon but i have a few other things done since my last dyno and it would not be a direct comparison. i got a new maf, bypassed ac compressor with a 4 rib belt and have lighter wheels.
