so ive been doin my red tails all day today, first one i screwed up and sprayed too much and the paint went on the other side of the lense, so the second one i went slower and didnt spray as much and ive been letting it dry, before i do another coat, but its still not coming out good, anyone have some advice??? is there anything i can do about the one i messed up on??? can i open them??

Well as soon as my car goes to the body shop next week I'm going to take the cracked tail light out since it's getting replaced anyways. I'm gonna attempt to bake them to take em apart, so one I do I'll post my findings.

 

is there any other technique besides going slow and spaying a lil, the taillights arent looking good at all, its still looks orange and the red looks darker in the middle and ive eben spraying it evenly

 

You can't take them appart that way. You'd need to dremmel the sides to cut it open.

 

how does it look after u cut them open?? does it look normal after u glue it back together? what kind of glue do u use???

 

I don't know how they will look but I've read from many posts that you can't heat them to open them, you have to cut them open.
