throttle chamber gasket(s)

hi,

i just replaced the IACV/AAV, and had to unbolt the throttle body from the intake manifold collector in the process.

i put everything back together, but i noticed a hissing sound coming from the vicinity of the throttle body. after looking at my FSM, i realized that i was supposed to replace the gasket(s). there are two gaskets, one is metal and directly contacts the throttle body, and one is rubber and sits on the intake manifold collector.

my first question is, which gasket(s) do i need to replace?

my second question is, when i put the new gasket(s) on, do i need to apply anything to them (e.g., engine oil) or do i just put them on dry?

for reference, the part numbers are:
16175-2Y901 - metal gasket
16175-2Y000 - rubber gasket

well the FSM says to torque the four bolts to 79-95 in-lb in a certain order, then to torque them to 13-16 ft-lb in the same order.

maybe I'm using my torque wrench wrong...

do you use a torque wrench or do you just screw the bolts back in tight?

so, i listened to a friend's max, and i hear the same hissing noise. looks like it's not coming from the throttle chamber after all.

but does anybody know what the hissing noise is? it's not that loud, but if you listen for it, it's definitely noticeable. sounds like it's coming from inside the intake manifold or from the hoses/stuff that are against the wall separating the engine from the passenger compartment.

thanks for the help!
