Removed Mudguards *PICS*

Ok, so I removed them all and only problem I encountered was a type of glue or wax substance along the line that mudguard was on and I'm having a real hard time getting it off ...gas didn't even do it...i can kind of chip away at it with my fingernail but it's not doing too much anymore...any ideas? (every other side was fine and came off perfect except for the rear passenger side)

Here's a quick pic I took . . .

3M rubbing compund. It works wonders. Get the fine grip one and have sompatience and it will get the adhesive off.

brake cleaner... it took off my pinstipes. There is also something called adhesive remover you can get at walmart and it smells like oranges. its in the paint section by the tapes and sandpapers.

good call on the no mudguards. They ugly. I think I did that within a week of getting my car. But I still cringe everytime I go over gravel or salt and hear all of that junk getting thrown up on the side of my car. The things we do to look good...

I have mudguard, I don't think they aren't so bad, at least I am not getting any stone chip on the rockerwell.

I took them off because I'm putting on the Stillen Kit in 2 weeks...they won't fit anymore once I put it on :-)

yea i still have mine on, but the only thing is, its like paint is wearing off the mudflaps? and i still get mud splashes on the body so its not much of a "mudguard"

well if you ask me, thats kind of redundant...cuz you said you wanted your car to look good, but if there are more and more things being kicked up hitting the sides of your car, it will look worse....just my .02

lol, yeah i wish...haha actaully i kinda wanted to stick with my OEM rims, just becuase i dont feel like forking over 1300 bucks or so to get new rims, plus the more expensive tire size..(if i opt for anything over 18")...as for my bday, im just getting some more money to add to my collection to save either for a rainy day, or for some more mods...hopefully i'll be able to hold off until i get into college, because im sure i'll be needing money then...

I didnt like the mudguards at first either because they make the stock wheels/tires look even skinnier.....but now they look real nice with my wider wheels/tires

He took off the mud guards because he's got the Stillen front, sides, and rear.

Thank you . . . Yah I mentioned this previously about ten or so posts back...The reason I did this is because I have the full Stillen kit going on in 2 weeks...that means putting them back on, or getting the factory 02/03 sideskirts are not options ... and the Stillen Kit =

I took a few more pics this morning bc it was pretty nice out and you can also tell my H&R/Illuminas have settled a bit over the past two or so months...seems that as it's warmer the setup gets lower due to the shocks being warm maybe...i'm very glad i got the h&r especially now that I got the Stillen Kit bc I could not survive around here with a lower drop and the kit...H&R/Illumina setup rocks hardcore

Hey maxilvr06-

How the HELL did you get that computer to say 36.2mpg??? That's a joke, right? If not, you must have some kind of wonder VQ or something.
