Grille Tech Question

I was debating getting the lower grill for my pearl 02 GLE. I was wondering if it would look funny since by car is pretty bone stock.

I like the way the grill looks on the 330i and I figured that car look stock and it looks cool with a grill, why not mine. Does anyone have a pearl maxima with or even a stock maxima with one? I would love to see pictures of it.

i have the grille on my 03 gle in sterling mist (link to pic below). if you do get it i highly recommend getting the diamond cut one and not the circle one. and in silver too not black which i believe it the other color they offer. that combo looks the best IMO.

i love these lower grill inserts..i think they add some "meanness" to the front end...i almost bought some from the same person i bought my clear corners from, but i didnt have the money to get them powder coated, and didnt want to have them rust....

I think i like it without the grill better. The top grill on the other hand SHWEET
but if u gonna do the bottom net grill do the top them same.

looking into doing it myself but way to much money for my liking for a dam grill

haha, im the exact opposite as you, i like the look of just the lower mesh grills rather than the top...i believe the lower mesh, and the body painted top grills look the best, but thats just my opinion and to each his own

I also have this grille, but I painted it gunmetal so it's much more subtle...

I have the black diamond upper and lower....close-ups on my cardomain page:

It contrasts well with the silver paint. I think it would look nice on a sterling mist car too IMO.

OT, huh?

I'm not a big fan of the grills unless they're painted to match the body or done in black where it compliments the color of the car, but to each their own.
