SCCA Solo2

A local car shop opened up here in town and they had several (about 3 and 1 fake one, more on that...) Skylines out there, all R33s and one R32. Then there was this four door Skyline...or what appeared to be a Skyline. Front skyline headlamps, grill, and badging. Looked really nice...especially the blue colour (much like the kenwood maxima that was floating around with some dorky looking guy and some extremely good looking girl). Go around to the rear and the R34 taillamps and rear bumper. Peer into the cabin and...it's a 2K Maxima. WTF?! The side markers were shaved off and the whole car was converted to look like a bulkier four-door skyline. The headlamps looked REALLY nice on the car...but, the owner probably thought his maxima now was a skyline (due to badging). To top it off, it was the slower Automatic 2K...It was a california car...so i figure you californians would have an idea where it came from or whose it might have been (assuming you've seen it before).

i wanna do an r34 on mine....

btw, it was done by motorex (importer of skylines). they had spare parts and a spare maxima, so they did that as a project. and yup, im pretty sure they're fully aware that theyre still driving a max. just a rather nifty lookin one.
