HELP PLEASE! Creaking sounds

I'm not sure what the problem is, but lately I've been hearing creaking from the back of my car. It's mostly when I make shaper turns, bumpy roads or have people in the back.
I know it has something to do with the suspension, but I'm just not sure exactly what it is. I was hoping I could get some help on what it can be, and if I would be able to fix/replace myself or how much it should cost if I can't do it. I'm still a newb sorry =(

hey, i have creaking sounds from the front of my car when i turn or go through bumpy roads.

i've heard that it might be strut mounts are wearing out?

i'm replacing my struts in a few weeks, so i'll ask my mechanic to check my suspension then for the cause of the noise.

but if anyone knows what it is, reply!

bump bump bump

Same here.

Same here. Only from my passenger side rear corner. I thought it might be the jack so I took it out but it was still there. I only experience this creaking noise kind of like opening a real old door real fast when the right rear is compressed while the rest of the car is level. example being going over a slight curb on an angle as soon as my right rear goes over it creaks . I cant replicate it when the car is at a stand still. I tried to have my cousin with myself push down on the right rear but it does not happen. I just learned to live with it .

Had the same creaking as Kevon1. When I jacked the car up, I found that the sleeve that sits on the bottom of the spring was hanging off, therefore the spring was rubbing against the strut...I just snapped that plastic piece back in place, and no more creaking...On my last spring/strut replacement, we put some electrical tape on the bottom of the spring to prevent the noise...Good luck

I have a real high pitched ringing sound everytime I hit a bump. Almost sounds like someone dropping a pin or a dime. Any clues?

cool. I'll check out the springs and look for the sleeve in a couple of days, when the snow melts. Thanks for the help.
