rotors

What are people replacing there rotors with to get past the warping problem. I don't want larger rotors or drilled/slotted ones. I know Brembo has OEM replacement rotors but I have heard that they really rust.

the only ones that I have tried that dont warp/crack are powerslots (slotted, but I know you dont want those).

Contact Matt93SE. He has some good info on the '04 rotor conversion.

So are Brembo Blanks more immune to warping then OEM ones?

I hear good things about frozen rotors, my question is, is it worth the extra $20/rotor to get the powerslot slotted ones or just the vanilla ones from frozenrotot?

I just ordered a set of PowerSlut front rotors from Diversified Cryogenics today as well as the Hawk pads. I'll report back when the product finally comes in. I have used the PS rotors in the past on my '98 Maxima nd they held up fine. Hopefully this setup will have a higher tolerance for 140mph stabs at the Area51 test track.

If you don't care about initial bite then you may not need to spend the extra $$ on the PS cryoed rotors vs. the standard Bimbo cryoed rotors. However if you buy the Hawk pads or something similar you probably should spend the extra. These types of 'Driving School' pads don't stop well on the first stab. They need a little heat in them first.

I also get better pricing on this stuff than many of you. So if enough serious people inquire I could setup a group buy.

I have Brembo blanks with axxis ceramic pads and I have had no warping in 10k miles but I wouldnt go with the axxis pads again because my wheels are always black now. Mine rust because I did not get them coated...and if it rains they will have rust on them but just apply the brakes once and it takes it off and only leaves rust around the base of the rotor. oh and i got them off importrp.com for a very great price.

If you want aftermarket stock-size rotors, contact "maxed up" here on the .org. He has rotors for front/rear of all years and many different styles to choose from...
