2001 5th gen flywheel weight

I am getting a 2k1 tranny for my 96 max and im also getting a 5th gen clutch, pressure plate and flywheel along with the tranny, i know the tranny and clutch would fit.

1. how much does a 5th gen flywheel weight?
2. any benefits to put the 5th gen flywheel?
3. will the flywheel fit?

it weighs 11 lbs (5kg) i think. and i think the 96 is lighter but not as strong. if you are doing the changeover you may as well just get the lightweight flywheel from fidanza. it will fit cause the block is identical.

you sure about 5th gen weighing 11lbs? fidanza lightweight flywheel weighs 12lbs. i think 5th gen weighs between 18-22lbs.

bump..

does fidanza offer another lightweight flywheels besides the 12lb flywheel? i am searching for a clutchkit and flywheel, and wanted to know what my options were for lightweight flywheels.
