CAI Sound

Is there anyway to make the intake sound alil meaner?... speaking like a throaty sound? i have a custom CAI going down to my plastic guard beneath the front of the car... Thats basically what I have done performance wise, a CAI. ;\

Try getting Apexi filter, I heard it makes intakes sound a "tad bit" throatier. If you're still not satisfied with that, i'd say dump your generic CAI and go for an Injen or PRCAI. PRCAI is known as the loudest of them all, as well as Injen. GOodluck.

for a good throaty sound you need to do exhaust work
see my sig for video of exhaust

Try growling while you accelerate, it'll be fun and give you the desired sound you're going for....i'm j/p. the apexi filter is probably your best option but im not sure if you'll end up with the difference you're looking for.

Ya know they all sound the same...

And the rest of the set-up matters too... cat, b-pipe, muffler, etc...
