i have my new springs and illuminas riding in my trunk. i'm having them installed next week, but i want to know if i need anything else beforehand. can i just reuse the factory dustboots and bumpstops? what about any adapters? if all i need is the new springs and struts that's great.

depending on how many miles you have you might want to replace your strut mounts.

Just out of curiosity... is it the same procedure to lower a 4th gen as to a 5th gen?

You can get the strut mounts at a Nissan dealer. When I installed my illumina's and H & R springs I replaced everything. But all four will be expensive.

You can pick them up from Frank aka jdmmax who works at the parts department at Superior Nissan in Puente Hills. Just tell him your from the org.

I also have a spare brand new OEM strut assembly for one side if you'd like (strut bracket and insulator)
54322-4U010 (strut bracket)
54320-AU701 (strut insulator)
